Software

We share software used for modeling and data analysis on our Github site.

Image Correlation

The software we frequently use for digital image correlation is Fast Iterative Digital Image Correlation by Christian Franck‘s research group (Bar-Kochba et al. Exp. Mech. 55, 261-274, 2015).

We have made some changes to the way images are imported and saved. Our version is available from our FIDIC repository.

Data Analysis for Cell Forces and Collective Cell Migration

We have various repositories for analyzing and plotting data from experiments measuring cell forces (cell-substrate tractions and monolayer stresses) and velocities:

Sample data is available on a figshare repository Spatiotemporal force and motion in collective cell migration.

Additional details are in our manuscript describing the data and the data analysis methods used (Saraswathibhatla et al. Sci Data, 7:197, 2020)

Fiber Network Model

We use finite element software to model fibrous materials, with each fiber being represented by beam elements. We have written custom software to make the fiber networks with desired properties such as length and density. We also write software to create input files to submit to the finite element software. Our software and detailed Readme files are available from our fiber network model repository.
